I was just scrolling through social media one afternoon when I stumbled across a post from a local band looking for a new vocalist. I’d always had “do an audition” on my bucket list — I figured it’d be for a commercial…. but something about this post made me pause. I thought, Why not? So, I went. What I didn’t expect was to walk out of that audition as the newest member — and the lead singer — of a rock band. Now, I’m living my teenage dreams. And it all started with one impulsive decision and a whole lot of heart. All it took was being brave once!
