Bio
Hi there, this is a little about me (Sloth). I was born deaf, and I found a way to enjoy music by lying on a speaker. Feeling the drums and the tone of the bass. The feeling was the start of my love of MUSIC.
I got my hearing fixed when I was two and a half, tapping on my mom’s pots and pans. I received my first drum kit when I was around five years old. It was a Premiere.
Being I was from the UK I started on my way collecting records of my favorite bands. At four years of age, I was learning my chops from Keith Moon, Mick Avory, Ginger Baker, Ringo Star, and many more.
We moved to the States and got more and more into jazz and progressive music bands. Bands such as Chicago, Queen, Deep Purple, Yes, and so many more.
Let’s move forward sometime. We moved to Adams, where I live now, at nine years of age. I learned how to read music and play other instruments. My dad also played instruments, so I set my path.
I have played in bands my whole life, even in school. Sadly, I always got bored and moved on. When I was twelve, I played in a band with my friends Tim Right and Pat Mcanulty. Then Tim left, so we got Joe Sweeney. Then Pat left, we got Kraig Weaver and called the band EMPATHY.
That lasted roughly 2 1/2 years, and I moved on. I have always enjoyed jamming with friends like Dave Williams and getting into heavy metal. I got into doing studio work to make some money and to build my chops even more.
I’ve been in so many bands, but I always feel like something is missing. So I started playing in a band, and I feel a little better. The bands I play in are called BARS IN THE WINDOW and ANOTHER MEMBER GONE. I’ve been in this band for three years. Look, Kraig and I are back in a band together. Now, be honest, who saw that coming?
